倉東遺產教育基地 Cangdong Heritage Education Center
倉東遺產教育基地以實踐「倉東計畫」遺產保育理念為主旨，它位於廣東開平倉前村，該村由謝氏祖先開基於元末，是一座完整體現嶺南僑鄉地域特色的村落。倉東計畫的保育理念與聯合國教科文組織所推廣的遺產理念一致。它透過各種遺產的保育和教育活動，推動社區永續發展。因此，人文生態和自然生態的整體保育觀是倉東計畫的重要理念。 計畫以倉東村的文化生態和原始自然生態環境為載體，在尊重和維護當地社會生態和自然生態的原則上，以運營教育基地的契機挖掘當地的遺產價值，探索文化傳播發展路徑，從而達到本土文化傳承與發展的目的。

Located in Cangqian Village, Kaiping, Guangdong, the Cangdong Heritage Education Center embodies the Cangdong Project’s conservation philosophy. The village, founded by the Xie family in the late Yuan Dynasty, exemplifies the cultural and architectural characteristics of Lingnan overseas Chinese communities. The Base promotes sustainable development through heritage conservation and educational activities, in accordance with UNESCO’s heritage principles. It offers various experiential programs [for students and teachers from preschool to university graduate levels], including traditional architecture workshops, herbal medicine tours, and celebrating cultural festivals, all aimed at fostering community sustainability and cultural preservation. The Project takes the cultural and natural environment of Cangdong Village as its foundation. Adhering to the principle of respecting and preserving local social and natural ecosystems, this educational base aims to reveal the heritage value of the area and explore pathways for cultural sharing and development. Its mission is to preserve and promote local cultural heritage.
倉東遺產教育基地：體驗項⽬
倉東遺產教育基地佔地近三百畝，以田野學校為發展方法，可提供的體驗項目有：倉東草藥行山徑、倉東可食地景遊徑、倉東傳統嶺南村落風水文化與建築文化遊徑、倉東藥膳文化體驗、倉東餐飲文化體驗、倉東建築技體驗（空鬥牆砌磚、灰雕製作、板瓦筒瓦鋪砌）、倉東月令民俗體驗（民俗信仰、節令）、倉東獅鼓文化體驗、本土傳統技藝體驗等。這些項目在村莊、後山、村莊前生態農場、倉東社區博物館、倉東家廚等地點進行。倉東遺產教育基地的體驗以及倉東農場生產的倉東米、倉東草藥走地雞、倉東藥膳食材、倉東文創產品等均獲得良好的公眾口碑；倉東共享菜地作為生態實踐與環保教育的場所也正發揮著作用。

The Cangdong Heritage Education Center covers an area of nearly 300-mu and offers a variety of experiential programs related to research and learning. These include the Cangdong Herbal Trail, Edible Wild Plants Trail, Traditional Lingnan Village Fengshui and Architectural Trail, TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Cuisine, Architectural Craftsmanship (e.g., hollow wall construction, lime carving, tile laying), Lunar Calendar Folk Customs (including traditional rituals and seasonal festivals), Lion Dance and Drum Culture, and local traditional craft workshops. These activities take place in various locations, including the village, its back hills, the ecological farm in front of the village, the Cangdong Community Museums, and the Cangdong Family Kitchen. These hands-on courses offered by the Cangdong Heritage Education Base, along with products such as Cangdong organic rice, free-range herbal chicken, TCM cuisine ingredients, Cangdong cultural and creative products, [and its popular restaurant and café] have already gained renown for high local quality. Additionally, the Cangdong Community Vegetable Garden serves as a valuable site for ecological practices and environmental education.
